1. Lab 1 - Introduction

This week’s lab is simple but important. We will practice using the tools and software that we’ll rely on throughout this course. It’s important to understand how to use them properly to ensure a smooth experience.

There are two parts to this lab. In the first part, you’ll familiarize yourself with each tool individually. In the second part, we’ll explore their collaborative features and learn common collaboration workflows used in academia and industry.
