After 8 fantastic years at the University of Oklahoma, we’ve moved back to the CISE department at the University of Florida.
The OU Data Lab was home to several exiting projects and collaborations with other fantastic students and researchers. The Gallogly College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma was a great place to work and we are grateful for the support we received from the college and the university. We were able to be a part of the huge growth in faculty and identiy in the Computer Science. The state of Oklahoma has pledged continued investments in computer science and we are looking forward to observing its growth and penetration throughout the state.
Now in Gainesville, Florida we will be building the University of Florida Data Studio. Our group with expand the projects and collaborations the OU Data Lab started. We plan to collaborate with the other fantastic labs across the University of Florida.
We are looking for PhD and MS students you are intested in Natural Language Processng, Deep Learning, Visualization, Database Management Systems, and Privacy. We’re looking for collaborators interested in Low-resourse Languages, Models of Human Interaction, Graph Neural Networks, Gerrymandering, and Disinformation. We are also loooking to collaborate on new initiatives on the University of Florida campus and the Gaiensville area.
